It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Cerney of Ripon, Wisconsin, born in Eagle River, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cerney and Beryl Cerney (Gloyd); his wife Helen Braun; his brothers, Willard and Donald; and his brother-in-law Karl Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Richard II Cerney (Mary) of DePere, WI, Dennis Cerney (Gale) of Iron River, MI, Kenneth Cerney (Ellen) of Merrill, WI, Edward Cerney (Lisa) of Clayton, WI, Michael Cerney (Suzanne) of Eldorado, WI, Jay Cerney (Cathy) of Fox Lake, WI, Eric Cerney (Marti) of Van Dyne, WI, Chris Cerney (Ann) of Ripon, WI, Ron Cerney of Oshkosh, WI and Louis Cerney of Ripon, WI; his sister Bette Kahl of Markesan, WI; his sisters-in-law, Judy Curry (Robert) of Decatur, IL and Bette Schauer (James) of Green Bay, WI; and his close friend Arlene Thiem of Ripon, WI.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren;19 great-grandchildren, a great great grandchild.
