She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Leslie and Ruth Giles (Miles); her husband Arthur Ellis; her daughter Julie Ellis Rezin; and her son-in-law James Herbert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Ellis of Incline Village, NV, Diane Ellis (Frederick Whitrock) of Baton Rouge, LA and Nancy Barr (Michael) of Canal Winchester, OH; her grandchildren, Allison Barr Allen (Eric) of San Francisco, CA, Ethan Barr of Boston, MA, Julia Selby (Nick) of Mandeville, LA, Robert Whitrock of Houston, TX and Jon Herbert of Honolulu, HI; her great grandchildren, Adeline and Elise Selby of Mandeville, LA; and her sister-in-law Rita Giles of Jefferson, WI.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
