He is survived by: his wife DeVonne Nelson of Ripon, WI; his son Johnathan Nelson (Leslie) of Westminster, CO; his stepchildren, Chris Waughtal (Chuck) of Marshfield, WI and Kyle Nikolai (Sara) of Berlin, WI; his grandchildren, Jackson, Blake Nelson, Mirissa, Alicia Nikolai, Nicholas, Kendell, Tyler, Rose, Lili, Isaiah and Issac Waughtal; his brother Brad Nelson (Myrna) of Brooklyn Center, MN; and his nieces, Kris Tampa (Todd) and Jenni Rohling (John).
