She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Litzkow and Blanche Litzkow; and her daughter Cheryl M. Dominski. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Szelmeczki; her son Steven Szelmeczki; her grandchildren, Madeline, Owen, Stuart and Zachary; and her cousin Mark Raasch (Mary Jo).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes (13235 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53005). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
