He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murphy and Ruth Murphy (Bemis); and his brother Dale Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Joleen Murphy; his children, Gerrilynn Peabody (Rolland) of Ripon, WI, John Murphy, Jr. of Oshkosh, WI, Mike Murphy (Patty) of South Weber, UT and Patrick Murphy (Trixie) of Onalaska, WI; his grandchildren, Ryan, Riley, Kelsey Giles (Rory), Jackson, Kaitlyn, Austin, Carson, Jessica, Tyson and McKenna; his great grandchildren, Brynley and Lyla; and his siblings, Colleen Schmitt, Diane Murphy and Dan Murphy.
