He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Bednarek and Rose Bednarek (Berlowski); his great grandchild Mackenzie Foth; and his siblings, Agnus Hartford, John Bednarek (Geri), Edmund Bednarek, Jr. and Raymond Bednarek.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Bednarek; his children, James Bednarek, Jr. (Heather) of Ripon, Betty Bednarek of Ripon and Sandra Purath of Montello, WI; his grandchildren, Tristan (Kara), Dane, Melissa Moen (Alex) and Jessica Foth (Spencer); his great grandchildren, Lance, Sadie and Morgan; his sister Rosanne Yasick (Jerry); and his siblings-in-law, Margie Bednarek, Faye Bednarek, Robert Monthey (Sue), Mary Cram (Keith) and Linda Gloyd (Don). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
