Gordon Sabel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Sabel of Ripon, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Sabel and Marcella Sabel (Guelig); his siblings, Gilbert (Dorothy), Charles (Nora), Oscar (Myrtle), Harold, Donald, Richard Sabel, Gladys Langenfeld (Gerald) and Marie Kraus (Lawrence); and his brothers-in-law, Arden Henslin and Donald Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Sabel; his children, Michael Sabel (Norma), Dennis Sabel (Kathryn) and Christine Taylor (Erik); his grandchildren, David Sabel (Alana Dopp), Johnny Sabel, Lizzy Sabel, Thomas Sabel (Katie) and Michael Taylor; his sister Agnes Perry; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Sabel, Ardis Sabel and Beverly Henslin. He is also survived by many other nieces; nephews; and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (100 Church St, Fairwater, WI 53931). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fairwater Cemetery. The military honors was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (100 Church St, Fairwater, WI 53931).
