He was predeceased by: his significant other Linda Rupp. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Kline-Burdine (Ira) of Kenosha, Stacia Kline-Obara (Jason) of Princeton and Gary Kline Jr.; and his grandchildren, Sumar Kline, Malachi Kline-Obara, Autumn and Brooke Burdine.
