With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florian D. Zimdars of Ripon, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 28, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Zimdars and Elda Zimdars (Daehn); his wife Shirley Zimdars; his sisters, Lorraine Laper and LaVerna Hinz; his son-in-law Duane VanLoo; and his in-laws, John Laper, Art Hinz, Gene Scott, Niles, Betty Mielke, Gerald and Rita Mielke.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Schleicher (Boyd), David Zimdars (Audrey), Terry Zimdars (Norine), Linda VanLoo and Steven Zimdars; his grandchildren, Kirstin Arndt (Justin), Matthew Schleicher (Megan), Erich Schleicher (Megan), Kyle Zimdars (Mariah), Gregory Zimdars, Diana Zimdars, Aaron Zimdars (Alissa), Nathan Zimdars, Seth Zimdars, Danielle Endres (Adam) and Cory VanLoo (Hennessy); his great grandchildren, Miranda, Linus, Daphne Arndt, Maddie Schleicher, Jack, Leo Schleicher, Lane, Maureen, Natalie, Stetson Florian Zimdars, Annabelle Zimdars, Violet Endres, Vivienne, William East and William Robinson; and his sister Marlene Scott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
