She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Helgesen and Helga Helgesen (Kittleson); and her siblings, Ila Wollum (Don), Rev. Kenneth Helgesen (Esther), Rev. Gilford Helgesen (Virginia), Rev. Russell Helgesen (Lorraine) and Phillip Helgesen (JoAnn).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Paulson; her children, Jeffrey Paulson (Paula) of Ripon, WI, Steven Paulson (Crystal) of Sioux Falls, SD and Barbara McAnnany (Kevin) of Deer Park, WI; her grandchildren, Jake Paulson (Kathryn) of Waukesha, WI, Megan Prellwitz (Ryan) and Ben Paulson (Alexandra) of Ripon, WI; her children, James Frykman of Los Angeles, CA and Marissa Frykman-Somogyi (Greg) of Minneapolis, MN; and her great grandchildren, Nolia, Sadie, Olin Prellwitz, Amaleia, Thane, Torrin and Theodore Paulson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
