Arlene Leppin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Leppin of Ripon, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 25, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arden Schatzke and Meta Schatzke (Manthey). She is survived by: her spouse Harve Leppin; her sister Eleanor Paulson (Schatzke) of Madison; her children, Dawn Schmuhl of Waupun, Dana Kittner (Bryan) of Coshocton, OH and Derick (Heather) of Auburn, AL; her grandchildren, Amanda Douma (Josh) of Ripon, Emily Strahota (Cory) of Markesan, Elizabeth Kittner-Nunez (Joel) of Columbus, OH, Carissa Schmuhl of Green Bay, Tyler Leppin of Auburn, AL, Seth Kittner of Westerville, OH, Sarah Kittner of Coshocton, OH and Ethan Leppin of Auburn, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Adaline, Reese and Amelia.
In addition, she wrote various articles for publication, most notably is her featured articles in SCOPE magazine, her contribution to National Geographic for Kids and her latest, co-author of Utley, Wisconsin's Oldest Ghost Town.
