It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Gilbert of Rio, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gilbert and Dorothy Gilbert; his son David Lawrence Gilbert (Frenda Avis Gilbert); his great grandchild Daisy Claire Gilles; his siblings, Marion Natvig, Don and James Gilbert; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Louise Johnson and Rhoda Johnson Lorton.
He is survived by: his spouse Frenda Gilbert; his daughter Judith Ferguson (Douglas); his grandchildren, Erin Gilles (Matt), Sally Antoine (Geoff) and Derek Ferguson (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Dakota, Miles, Dane, Robert, Lilly, Hazel, Otto, Madelyn and Story; and his sister-in-law Judith Wymer (William). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, there will be a private burial at Bonnet Prairie Cemetery October 17, 2020.
