With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Galen James Merriam of Ringle, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Galen James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Galen James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Community Church (229375 County Rd J, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
