With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggy J. Murphy of Ridgeway, Wisconsin, born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peggy left this world on November 12, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carol Jene Johnson (Yost) and Russell Vernon Johnson; her in-laws, Marlin and Gretta Murphy; her siblings, Richard Johnson, Michael Johnson, Lawrence Johnson and Linda Guetzke; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Murphy, Delores Murphy, John Wubbenhorst and Jack Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Murphy; her children, Kelly White (Galen) and Shaun Murphy (Robin); her grandchildren, Michaela Jefferies (Grant), Rylie Honnold, Trey Honnold (Mackenzie Andres), Bailey Murphy and Aiden Murphy; her stepgrandson Cody White; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Hayden and Harper; her brother Robert Johnson; her foster brother John (Joann Teresa); her sister Debbie Bowers; and her siblings-in-law, Penny Johnson, Lou Ann Wubbenhorst, Elsie Jane Murphy, Donald Murphy and Dean Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gorgen-McGinley & Ayers Funeral Home (400 E Grace St, Dodgeville, WI 53533). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Meadows Assisted Living & Memory Care facility in Spring Green, in Peggy's name.
