He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Bosco Penkoff and Marion Mary McGivern; his former wife Marilyn Jo Lindsey; his children, Pieter and Marko; his wife Patty Budish; his children, Nora, April and Michele Kosanke (John); his daughter-in-law Jackie Penkoff; his grandchildren, Alison Renee Ward (Adam), Eliott Wesley Kosanke (Laura Jones) and Nicholas Bradley Penkoff; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Sayles Ward and Simon James Ward.
