He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Peterson and Cornelia Peterson; his son Daryl; and his siblings, Robert "Bullet" Peterson and Jacqueline "Jackie" Shively.
He is survived by: his children, Nadine, Alan Peterson of Illinois and Brian Peterson (Monica) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle of Illinois and Stephanie Rocklin of New York; and his siblings, Karen Sigl, Richard Peterson (Coleen), Bonnie Applebee, Gary Peterson (Mary Jo), Carolyn Peterson, Archie Peterson (JoLynne), Mary Peterson and Ole Peterson (Lois). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
