He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Faye Wirt and Irma Johanna Marie Bruchmann (Bruchmann). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Wirt of Spring Green; his children, Tim Wirt and Tamara Boutain (Wirt); his grandsons, Connor Williams, Alexander Boutain and Mason Wirt; and his siblings, Charles Wirt, Richard Wirt (Kathy), John Wirt, Robert "Buzz" Wirt (Deb) and Christine Pratt (John).
