He was predeceased by: his father Jack; his siblings, Rita Fernandez, Kathy Sherman, Ron, Rick and Jim Sherman; and his brother-in-law Archie Briggs.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jenson; his sisters, Linda Briggs, Bernadine Kennedy (Pat) and Janet Henkel (Kenny); and his close friend Kerry Larsen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
