It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Wallace Hagenston (Richland Center, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin H. Hagenston and Anna Hagenston (Hanvold); his siblings, Harvey Hagenston (Hilda) and Betty Potterton; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Maly (Lillian), Wayne Bublitz and Thelma Tanner (Cecil).
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Maly; his son Gene Jr.'Pip' Hagenston (Ila) of Boaz; his grandchildren, Hope Bindl (Doug Borth) of Boaz and Dominic Hagenston (Anne) of Bosstown; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Ethan Bindl; his siblings-in-law, D. Gene Potterton (Carol), Buena Hyland-Bublitz and Marilyn Anderson (Lavon); and his friend Les Hyland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to the Basswood Union Church.
