He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur C. Wegner and Lorna Wegner; his wife Dianne Goetz; his brothers, Daniel and Alan; and his sister-in-law Pat.

He is survived by: his children, Pam Roskopf (Gary) of Germantown, WI, Timothy Wegner (Jane) of Waukesha, WI and Dr. Karen Wegner (Paul Vastag) of Menomonee Falls, WI.; his grandchildren, Cory Roskopf (Elisabeth), Kristin Hanson (Alex), Jenna Wegner, Alyssa Wegner, Sara Gonzales (Justin), Erik Vastag (Karolina), Erin Vastag and Jordan Vastag; his great grandchildren, Beau, Alina and Otto; his brother Eric "Rick" (Dianne) of Hartford, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Penny, Adelle Gartzke, Harriett Thomson (Dan), Carol Torres (Terry) and Alan Goetz. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
