He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schmitz and Esther Schmitz; and his granddaughter Amelia. He is survived by: his wife Louise Schuster; his children, Leroy (Paula), Charlene Malson (Jim), Carol Wolf (Mike), Lavern (Irene), Lawrin (Kim), Leon (Kimm) and Christine Burg (Bill); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Steven, Jenny, Sarah, Daniel, Andy, Amy, Adam, Allen, Matthew, Rebecca, Megan, Ryan, Amanda and Bryan. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
