He is survived by: his wife Alice of Rice Lake; his children, Christina Kohler (Roger) of Stanley, Eric, Jessica, Travis and Melyssa; his stepchildren, Guy Balow (Kelly) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Donna Lecander (Pete) of New Richmond, Marie Nett (Doug) of Rice Lake, Thomas Balow (Jenny) of New Richmond, Ben Balow (Ann) of Rockford, MN, Valerie Curry of Rice Lake, Joe Balow (Sharon) of Amery and Roseanne Snowwhite (Paul) of Dexter, MI; his great grandchildren, Brent, Peyton, Logan and Miya; and his siblings, Barbara Emmert (Joe) of Janesville, Jim Gadke (Audrey) of Loyal, Raymond Gadke (Paula) of Platteville and Don Gadke (Joann) of Stanley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and his beloved canine companion.
