It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheryl Joy Byrnes of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Jacobsen and Mayfred Jacobsen (Godbout); her husband Greg Byrnes; her brother Larry Jacobsen; and her sister-in-law Robin Byrnes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Byrnes-Hampton (Dedrick) of Canton and Candace Byrnes (Philip Dobosz) of Rice Lake; her siblings, Theresa Hoff (Lloyd), David Jacobsen (Lois), Cynthia Gustafson (Arthur), Steven Jacobsen (Mary) and Mike Jacobsen (Denise); her grandchildren, Kayla Johnson of Woodbury, MN, Brittany Byrnes of Rice Lake, Timothy Cross, Renee Cross of Yangton, Jonathon Dobosz of Rice Lake and Stevie Hampton of Canton; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Sadowski, Connor Byrnes of Rice Lake, Makinlee and Tatyana Johnson of Woodbury, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1221 Wesley St, Rice Lake, WI 54868). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Dallas Cemetery (1640 4 1/2 Ave, Dallas, WI 54733).
