He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Saffert and Frances Saffert; his brother Dick Saffert (Shirley); and his nephew Rick Saffert. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wuethrich; his children, Brent Saffert (Toni), Brenda Eytcheson (Trevor), Bobbette Arvold (Doug) and Beth Wulf (Jesse); his grandchildren, Marc Gonzalez, Heather Kendall, Luke Saffert, Tate Eytcheson (Meghan), Rachel Adebo (Al), Sarah Eytcheson, Seth Eytcheson, Colten Arvold, Hunter Arvold and Gavin Johnson; and his siblings, Johnny Saffert of Rice Lake, Bob Saffert (Lana) of Rice Lake, Paul Saffert (Marilyn) of Rice Lake and Cathy Smith (Bob) of New Richmond.
