He was predeceased by: his parents, Orva Everson (Coates) and James Everson; his wife Clarice Funk; his brother Chester Everson; his half-brother John Busick Jr.; his stepbrothers, Ronald, Eugene, Garold, Charles, Richard and Dean Busick; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Ewen Buergi, Bernice Roubal (Ernest) and LeRoy Sandridge; and his nephew Ed Ewen.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Lois Everson of St. Paul; his half-siblings, Virginia Sandridge of Sarona, Judie Hanson of Hugo and William Busick of St. Paul; and his stepsister Donna.
