We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2022, at the age of 96, David John Schmitz of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, born in Sparta, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his daughter Anita Nevin (Harold, Jr.) of Rice Lake; his grandsons, Michael Nevin (Karen) of St. Michael, MN and Colin Nevin (Rosanna) of Elmwood; his great grandchildren, Trevor Nevin (Frances), Trenton Nevin, Madelyn, Savannah and Grace Nevin; and his siblings, Theresa Seeger (Ronald) of Rochester, MN, Mary Kolstad (Ralph) of Comstock, Anna Mae Gamache of Rush City, MN, Patricia Sommerfield (Elmer) of Rochester, MN and John Schmitz of Glenwood City.
When David had spare time, he would create wooden crafts to donate to the church fundraisers.
