He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Evenson and Myra Evenson (Johnson); his son Rodney; his former wife Sandy; his granddaughter Kayla; and his sister Lois Weber.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Chad Evenson (Sabrina) and Wade Evenson (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Amber, Will and Russell Evenson; his great grandchildren, Lenora and Henry; and his siblings, Marlys Orf, Sue Hopkins and Vernon Evenson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
