It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen Ann Schmaltz of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ellis and Lilly Ellis (Zulliger); her husband Wendlen Schmaltz; and her brother Richard. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Green (Leodis) of Arkansas, Robert Schmaltz (Renee) of Nebraska, Dennis Schmaltz (Kathleen) of Rapid City, SD and Daniel Schmaltz (Nadine) of Rice Lake, WI; and her sisters, Patsy Glaser (Ronald) of Cameron and Nancy Kahl (Bernard) of Rice Lake. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
