It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara Blanchard of Rib Mountain, Wisconsin, born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Wetterau and Marion Wetterau (Eberhardy); her father-in-law Raymond Blanchard; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Blanchard and Sarah Blanchard.

She is survived by: her husband Dean Blanchard; her daughters, Nicole Bates of Wausau and Karissa Blanchard of Wausau; her grandson Micah Bates; her siblings, Ruth Eckardt (Joe) of Phoenix, AZ, Joan Wetterau, Mary Zirbel (Doug), Jane Wetterau, Paul Wetterau (Rox) and Spencer; her mother-in-law Marlene Blanchard; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Blanchard of Marshfield and Duane Blanchard (Lisa) of Marshfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Social distancing will be observed and face masks will be required to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in memory of Sara to the Town of Berlin-Hamburg Lions Club or the Better Life Insurance Group.
