He is survived by: his wife Bridget; his sons, Aaron and James; the mother of his children Alice; his brother Allen Kubiske (Gayle); his nieces, Carol and Jodi; his nephew Douglas; his grandchildren, Jaxon, Markus, Harley, Niylah, Owen, Noah and Rylee Gene; his close friend Kirk Harms; his brother-in-law Andy Robinson; and his friends, Lennon, Henry and Bella. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece, and many cousins.
There, he made significant and well-recognized contributions to studying industrialization on forest ecology.
