We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2024, at the age of 92, Marilyn M. Tober of Rhinelander, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Marilyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marilyn leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Walters and Ben Walters; and her husband Keith Tober. She is survived by: her children, Robert Tober, Patrick Hunter (Judy), Michael Hunter of Rhinelander and Linda Cates of Wausau. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be directed to the Oneida County Humane Society.
