With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Nelson Tolsted of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David Nelson leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Tolsted and Laura Tolsted (Nelson); and his children, Christine Tolsted-Tummett and Mark Tolsted. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Nelson; his grandson Ryder Nelson Tummett; and his daughter-in-law Kara Tolsted.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carlson Funeral Service, Inc. (134 N Stevens St, Rhinelander, WI 54501). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
