We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, Charles Richard Trein of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph and Stella Frances Trein; his siblings, Dolores, Rita and Richard; and his grandson Trevor (Heath).
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn (Binkis); his children, Jill Whittaker (Justin) of Rhinelander and Todd Trein (Genevieve) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Makayla (Daisy), Leelah (Linda-Lou) and Elise (Ellie Mae); and his pet Cosmo.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church (125 E King St, Rhinelander, WI 54501). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Northwoods National Cemetery (4520 Lakewood Rd, Harshaw, WI 54529).
