He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip R. and Cecelia A. Sheldon (Seymour); his children, Gary Sheldon of Rhinelander, Steven Sheldon of Rhinelander, Bobby Sheldon Sr. of Rhinelander, Michele Anderson Sr (Michael) of Rhinelander and Michael Sheldon (Robin Potter) of Rhinelander; his siblings, Patsy Roberts of Long Lake and Phillip "Sonny" Sheldon of Rhinelander; and his wife Shirley.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amanda Ewan (William), Bobby Sheldon Jr., Heather Sheldon, Michael Anderson Jr. and Holly Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Alexa, Bella, Liam, Parker, Walker, Haylee and Axle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
