He was predeceased by: his father Willard Scheel; his wife Doris Hafenstein; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his mother Betty Scheel (Hoel); his sons, Paul and Ryan Scheel; his grandson Everett Butzine; his sisters, Cheryl Rude (Michael) and Linda Nottestad (Randy); and his sister-in-law Sandy Scheel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
