He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Burkart and Jean Burkart (Ryan); his daughter Carri; and his brothers-in-law, Don Wachal and Jim Schaefer.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Burkart; his siblings, Mary Fintelmann (Tim) and Paul Burkart (Janise) of Bruce Crossing, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Schiesel (Nick), Menchalville, Karyl Schaefer and Gene Wachal (Kay). He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
