He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Gauger and Lois Gauger; his grandparents, Hugo, Ida Gauger, Reverend Paul and Norma Gieschen; and his father-in-law Raymond Schutz.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Gauger (Clay Brown); his granddaughters, Addyson Gauger and Brooklyn Bennett; his brother Jim Gauger (Tammy); his niece Loni (Kevin); his great-nephews, Andrew, Nathan and Dylan; his niece Mariah Gauger; his godson Ben Gauger (Lindsey Sandberg); his mother-in-law Rita Schutz; and his friend Steve Pleuss.
