He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Kohls; his parents-in-law, Viola and Ellis Kohls; and his siblings-in-law, William "Sam" Wohlford and Kathie Kiekhaefer.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie (Michael Wasmuth), Candice (Richard Bilotto), Chad (Valerie Kiekhaefer) and Cristin (Jeff Tisler); his grandchildren, Tracie, Jonathan Kusowski, Ty, Courtney Wasmuth, Cale, Carsyn Kiekhaefer, Mason (Alanna Phillip), Delaney Tisler, Christopher, Kendra Bilotto, Andrea, Jeremy Westphal, Nicholas Bilotto (Rachel Youngell), Rachel, Jackson Beelen and Joanna Bilotto; his great grandchildren, Easton, Ellis, Emerson Wasmuth, Violet, Ruby Kusowski, Olivia, Noelle Bilotto, Madeline, Makensie, Gwenyth, Noah Westphal and Benjamin Beelen; his siblings, Mel (Veryl Kiekhaefer), Paul Kiekhaefer, Dennis (Jean Kiekhaefer), Christine (Kevin Van Laanen) and Kathy (Roy Krouse); and his sister-in-law Jolene Wohlford.
