She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Bubolz and Helen Bubolz (Fischer); her parents-in-law, Henry G. and Mabel Behnke (Pollack); her daughter Brenda Vanden Avond (Mike); her granddaughter Heather Behnke; her brother Donald Bubolz (Joanne); and her brothers-in-law, Peter Link, Leroy Behnke, Lem Behnke (LaVerne) and Orville Behnke (Ruth).
She is survived by: her husband Henry E. Behnke, Jr. (Hank); her son Bruce Behnke (Vicki); her grandchildren, Tony Behnke, Adrianne Helberg and Alison Prochnow (Ron); her great grandchildren, Peyton, Avery Helberg, Addy Schisel, Ben, Zach and Prochnow; her siblings, Ray Bubolz (Suzanne) and Val Jean Link; and her sister-in-law Betty Behnke. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a Doris Behnke Memorial Fund.
