He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin Mead and Marie Mead (Blau); his grandmother Nellie Blau; his parents-in-law, Francis and Irene Biesek; and his siblings-in-law, Art, Eugene, Jimmy, Bernard, Marvin Biesek, Phil Johnson, Kathy, Betty, Darlene, Diane and Tammy Biesek.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Biesek; his children, Jim Mead (Rachele) and Lisa Greenwood (Mark); his grandchildren, Tricia Skaife (Cory), Emma Flock (PJ), Liam Greenwood (Calee Rudersdorf) and Payton Mead; his great grandchild Jay Rollin Skaife; his siblings, Verllin Mead (Carol), Rollene Marslender (Mike) and Geralyn Dauti; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Biesek (Fran), Marty Biesek, JoAnn Johnson Gwen Biesek (Joe Sletten) and Joanne Biesek. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (624 N Willow St, Reedsburg, WI 53959).
