He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brown and Minnie Bell Brown (Ochletree); his wife Olivia Fern Elsbernd; his son James Brown; his daughter-in-law Patricia Brown; and his great grandchild Wren Haser.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Kast (Jerry) of Bear Valley, Lynn Mattei (Monte) of Wisconsin Dells, Margaret McCluskey (Shane) of Lime Ridge, Sandra McGowan (Eddie) of Jacksonville, FL and Charles Brown (Jennifer) of Brookfield; and his friends, Kenny and Beverly Duren. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
