He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Heiting and Edna Heiting (Patt); and his sister Barb Kuntz. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Cheri Purkis (Mike), Bret Heiting, Richard Heiting (Teresa) and James Michael Heiting; his stepchildren, Laura Bosley (Christopher) and Brian Kind; his siblings, Mary Jedlicki, Paul Heiting and Betty Jonas (Bill); and his former wife JoEllen Heiting. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
