He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Maybelle Johnson; his sister Anita Ehrhard; his brother-in-law Wayne Ehrhard; his foster brother Tiny Dunsmoor; his parents-in-law, Rodney and Edith Brown; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Roberts and Rosemary Walker.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Mark Johnson (Amber) and Jennifer Goplin (Tom); his brother Greg Johnson (Cheri); his siblings-in-law, Judy Sapp (Jackie) and David Brown (Beverly); and his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Brady, Brecken, Emily, Acacia and Oakley. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
