He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas J. Streit and Agnes E. Streit (Lowell); his foster brother Joseph Herndern; his siblings-in-law, Cecilia, Cletus Holzer, Aloysius Ruzicka, Stephen Koenigsfeld, Joanne, Harry Frein, Genevieve, Ralph Haus, Elaine Koenigsfeld Menges, Jay Craven (Pete) and Theresa Farrington; and also, Mabel and Daniel F. Koenigsfeld.
He is survived by: his family Nick; his wife Dorothy Koenigsfeld; his children, Diane Steinhandler (Perry), Susan Finn (Terrence), Joseph Streit (Kathleen) and Nicholas F. Streit (Lisa); his grandchildren, Tracy Gonzalez (Rene), Zachary Steinhandler (Laura), Rebecca Finn (Zane Kenney), Natalie Thorstensen (Daniel), Daniel Finn (Stephanie), Michael Finn, Amy Streit, Ava VanDommelen and Shane VanDommelen; his great grandchildren, Griffin, Gage, Gustavo Gonzalez, Max, Ella, Charles Steinhandler, Samuel, Jacob Thorstensen, Cayden and Barrett Finn; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Ruzicka, Mary Koenigsfeld, Mary Craven, Sharon, Peter Koenigsfeld, Michael Farrington and Bernadette Hennagir.
