He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Holtz and Sara Holtz (Egerer); his siblings, Clarence "Pat" Holtz and Wilma Carpenter; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Schubring, Clarence Glover and Fred Carpenter.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Suszycki; his children, Denese Holtz of Beaver Dam and Randy Holtz of Columbus; his granddaughter Nicole Amundsen (Jeff) of Dassel, MN; his great grandchildren, Gavyn of Dassel, MN, Jakob of Dassel, MN and Brenna Amundsen of Dassel, MN; his sisters, Darleen Schubring of Lolo, MT and Helen Grover of Adams Friendship; and his sister-in-law Bernadine Holtz of Reedsburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the family for a charity of their choosing.
