She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Winchel and Gracie Winchel (Thomas); her former husband John B. Spurgeon; her husband Leland Lewis; her sons, Doyle Spurgeon, Charles Spurgeon, John Spurgeon and Randy Spurgeon; her grandson Douglas Spurgeon; her great grandchild Gabriella Faith Spurgeon; and her brothers, Glen and Carl Winchel.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Mortimer, Linda "Kathy" Tyler (Randy), Vonda Hainstock (Roger), Kerry Spurgeon (Mary Baley) and Toni Spurgeon (Al Nachreiner); her stepson Donnie Spurgeon; and her brother Walter Winchel (Merideth). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
