He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Geitz and Clara Geitz (Manglos); his siblings, Ervin "Woody" Geitz, Eugene "Whitey" Geitz (Karen), John Geitz (Marie) and Norma Scott (Craig); his wife Helen Hamburg of Peter's Lutheran Church; his grandson-in-law Bob Corey; his great grandchild Zoey Corey; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Geitz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Gronemeyer (Frank) of Colfax and Julie Krueger (Pete) of LaValle; his grandchildren, Candice Corey (Brandon King), Alex Gronemeyer (Jenessa), Caleb Gronemeyer (Margaret), Tori Vanguard (Dylan) and Rachel Gronemeyer; and his great grandchildren, Zander Adkins, Zayven Corey and Harvey Gronemeyer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorials of remembrance may be made to the Eagle's Nest Detachment #1293, the LaValle Fire Department, or Zion Lutheran Church in LaValle.
