Jerome Sefkar Obituary

In loving memory of Jerome Sefkar (Reedsburg, Wisconsin), who departed this world on March 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Jerome leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sefkar and Emma Sefkar (Hasz); his in-laws, Arthur and Dorothy Schubring; his siblings, Lorin and Rosie Butler; and his siblings-in-law, Duane Butler, William Hammer, Virginia and Kathryn Schubring.

He is survived by: his family Snapchats; his wife Judy Schubring of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Debra Craker (Jerry) of Lyndon Station and Randy Sefkar (Beth) of Minnesota; his granddaughters, Lindsey Muchow (Matt) of Reedsburg, Caitlin Redeker (Sam) of Baraboo, Morgan Leary (Jeff) of Minnesota, Myckenzie Kloos (Brian) of Minnesota and Brooke Sefkar (Luke Bruss) of Minnesota; his siblings, JoAnn DePonte (Bob Ivey) of Davis, Lorna Hammer of Fort Atkinson, WI., Arthur Schubring (Kathy), William Schubring (Shirley), John Schubring (Judy) and Jean Darrow (John); and his caregiver Courtney. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the John Ev. Lutheran Church (624 East St, Baraboo, WI 53913).
