She was predeceased by: her father John Benson; and her grandparents, Ruth, John Benson, Ida and Julius Fritz.
She is survived by: her mother Rosemary Benson; her husband John Meister; her daughter Sarah Bjork; her stepchildren, Thomas Meister and Emma Meister; her siblings, John Benson (Thuy), Philip Benson (Berenice) and Meredith Benson; and her nieces and nephews, Katelyn Macias (Alexis), Ruth Benson, Jacob Benson (Ingrid), Caleb Buchberger-Benson and Mateo Benson. She is also survived by her family, friends.
She asks that anyone wishing would donate to the Carbone Cancer Center for Blood and Bone.
