He was predeceased by: his father Harley Peterson; and his sister Sally Peterson. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Peterson (Hemberger); his children, Julia Peterson (Logan), Claire Peterson (Daniel) and Jonathan Peterson (Tayiah); and his siblings, Daniel Peterson (Patricia), Jean Stittleburg (Patrick), Rebecca Krueger (James), Joseph Peterson, Kelli Nolden (Charles) and Matthew Peterson (Denise). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested to a memorial fund in his name to support the family. Checks can be made out to the Jay Peterson Memorial fund.
